Southern Miss athletic director Richard Giannini appeared on the syndicated radio show Southern Connection tonight and took questions from Southern Miss fans from across the nation.
Per Giannini, expect a major football schedule announcement within the next 30 days. Giannini did confirm that the contest will not be against former in-state opponents Mississippi or Mississippi State. To paraphrase Mr. G, our fan base will be pleased with the announcement.
