Sparked by a 26 point and 24 rebound game from Pauline Love, Southern Miss beat the visiting William Carey Crusaders 81-55 tonight at Reed Green Coliseum. The Lady Eagles, who never trailed in the game, held William Carey to 30% shooting from the field and forced 23 turnovers.
The Lady Eagles return to "The Green House" Friday evening at 5pm in the opening game of the Lady Eagle Thanksgiving Classic against Jackson State. Game two will feature Texas A&M-Corpus Christi vs Georgia.
